If you want to do an overnight in the gym, like a "lock in" - this is available, but you must rent the entire school for that night. This classic schoolhouse was built in 1931. We have a full gymnasium with sports equipment, workout area, free weights, and ping pong. There is a fire pit, big lawn, and fort area for the kids to play on.

Cons:
- Old HVAC system
- Vintage school has old bricks/flooring/plaster - it's not pristine and new looking, which is part of its charm
- Bats, if you are scared of bats (they won't get into contact with you)
- Various wildlife like skunks, insects, frogs
- Owner has parrots and dogs which will make noise
- You may run into the owners in the common areas of the hallways, gym, yard and landings
RENTING FOR EVENTS:
Our prices vary depending on the length of the event, what facilities you wish to use and how many participants will be there. If you are concurrently renting parts of the school to sleep in, that will discount your rental rates by the number of people who are staying at the school. Minimum fees are $75 for 3 hours for the gym, and $200 for 4 hours for an event including the school cafeteria kitchen and gym. Keep in mind that if all your guests stay in the school bedrooms, the gym is included free!

About the Owner
Mark grew up in this area, and when we found this vintage school for sale, we had to buy it. It lured us with its solidly built romantic charms. Now we hope to share it with other people who will appreciate its well built and warm nature.Location
